Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits to attain better physical and mental health, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving.

Steps to wellness include: walking, stretching, socializing,  meditating,  learning  and prioritizing nature.

Embrace the art of wellness and untap your potential to flourish physically and mentally, through cultivating and empowering healthy habits that will enhance your life.

I’m Beverly Stowe, long time New Yorker and wellness advocate. I’d like to take you on a wellness walk in Central Park a magical space where I go almost every day - rain or shine, summer or winter. Central Park brings calm to a vibrant city and happens to be one of the best places to walk and workout in New York City.

Join me on an unforgettable wellness walk where fitness, joy and mindfulness converge in the urban sanctuary of Central Park, a world-renowned filming location and treasure trove of picturesque sites such as Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, Poet's Walk, Sheep Meadow, Great Lawn and more. You may recognize some of these spots from some of your favorite movies or TV shows.

These walks are small, intimate and curated and will take into consideration the interests and fitness level of the group. We’ll set an intention for the walk and start with a bit of stretching and breathing. The walk is 3.5 miles, approximately 8k steps and takes about 2 hours. We will end the walk with a short meditation. The walk will proceed at a brisk pace unless we need to make adjustments per the group’s dynamics. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, get some exercise, explore Central Park, make new friends and have some fun.
